What our experts think
1Password does what a good password manager should do. It securely stores passwords and other sensitive information and helps create strong passwords. Users said the instructions provided were accurate and easy to understand. This enhanced 1Password’s ease of use. Many users said 1Password elevated their organization’s security level. For example, vault items could be shared without the threat of data breaches.
One downside to 1Password is that it does not have a free plan under the Personal & Family category. While this is not a big drawback, many password management solutions offer a free plan for personal use. 1Password should add a free account to keep up with the competition. Additionally, the cost may be high for some people.
