Bitwarden
Category - Password ManagementBitwarden Reviews and Product Details
Bitwarden is a popular password manager for securing passwords and other sensitive information. Users can generate an unlimited number of unique passwords. Previously created passwords can be stored in a secure vault. Credit card, social security, and passport numbers can also be stored in the vault. You can identify weak/reused passwords with vault health reports and view other security metrics. Bitwarden uses AES 256-bit encryption to protect your password vault. The software encryption lets users securely share their passwords with team members who need access. Furthermore, Bitwarden supports multi-factor authentication via email or an authentication app (e.g., Google Authenticator). Bitwarden is available on multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
Bitwarden has plans for personal use as well as for businesses. Both plan categories offer free trials. The Personal category has a free plan that has the core Bitwarden features. The advanced features are available with the premium plans. The plans under the Personal category have user limits. The Free and Premium allows vault sharing with one other user. The Families plan allows vault and feature sharing with up to six people. There are no user limits for the Business plans.

Bitwarden reviews
Bitwarden is an easy-to-use password manager thanks to its well-designed interface and intuitive features. Many users said that Bitwarden helped solve several common problems related to password management: creating unique passwords, resetting forgotten passwords, sharing passwords with others etc. Overall, people said that Bitwarden gave them peace of mind. They no longer had to worry about remembering multiple passwords or being vulnerable to cyber attacks.
There are some issues with Bitwarden. The browser can be a bit difficult to install and operate. For example, the plugin will sometimes not detect a login occurring and miss the opportunity to save the credentials into the vault. The user interface for Android devices could be improved. To access Bitwarden, users must create a master password. To maintain strong security, Bitwarden uses zero-knowledge encryption. This means Bitwarden cannot assist in retrieving or resetting your master password. If you forget this password, there are a few retrieval options. However, in most cases, you must delete your account and start a new one, losing all your saved passwords and other info.
