What our experts think

Pros

  • Convenience: The HubSpot Marketing Hub is often described as an all-in-one software. Users liked having various marketing tool in a single location. Instead of switching between different solutions, people could manage all their marketing needs with one software.
  • Simplified work: Users agreed that HubSpot Marketing Hub simplified complicated and time-consuming tasks. For example, one person said they could easily manage social media accounts and track analytics.
  • Help Centre: The HubSpot Help Centre offers several learning resources. The Knowledge Base includes how-to articles and guides for the Marketing Hub tools. The Academy portal has training videos. Use the Community portal to get tips from HubSpot experts. When you sign up for one of the 14-day free trials, a step-by-step guide is provided. The guide teaches you how to use the plan’s tools through interactive demos and detailed articles. I used these resources frequently, and they helped my understanding of HubSpot Marking.

Cons

  • Price: The price for the Professional and Enterprise plans can be too expensive for some small businesses. The price jump from the Free/Starter plans to the higher tiers is too costly for businesses on a tight budget.
  • Learning curve: For beginners, HubSpot Marketing can be overwhelming. Some of the terms can be confusing for non-marketing people. Some of the features can be confusing and hard to use. The Workflow tool is one example. I read many how-to articles until I had a better understanding of the feature. Based on these examples, HubSpot Marketing is best used by experienced/advanced users.
