Passportal by N-Able is a cloud-based password manager solution. The platform helps small and large managed service providers (MSPs) automate client password management. Passportal lets administrators generate unique passwords, remove re-used ones, and set schedules for routine password maintenance. User credentials can be automatically updated across the entire client base. The credential strength chart gives a detailed view of which passwords are strong and weak. The real-time logging tool lets you keep a complete audit trail of currently and previously used passwords. Passportal comes with a self-service portal called Blink. This tool enables users to reset passwords by authenticating their identity using biometrics or touch ID. Lastly, Passportal uses multi-factor authentication and software encryption.
Passportal does not have a set price. A custom price is based on the information about your business (e.g., number of employees). A free trial is also available.

As a password manager software, Passportal is easy to use. The platform has smooth navigation, and the features are intuitive. Several users commented that Passportal improved their organization’s security. It gave them a safe place to store passwords and other sensitive information. One user said Passportal helped with organizing client information. Passportal houses everything in a single location. You no longer have to search through pages of documents to find a password. Software encryption and multi-factor authentication also provide much-needed additional security.
While Passportal is easy to use, there may be an initial learning curve for some users. Beginners may feel overwhelmed due to the terminology used and the overall layout of the user interface.
