Webroot Reviews and Product Details

Webroot provides protection against ransomware, identity theft, spyware, adware, and other online threats. The Identity Shield feature secures your browser against Trojans, phishing attacks, and identity theft. Personal information like usernames, passwords, and credit card numbers are kept safe. The system optimizer tool deletes traces of your online activity plus temporary files that reveal your computer use. Items moved to the Quarantine are automatically disabled. Unlike many antivirus solutions, Webroot uses cloud-based technology. The advantage of this technology is that it is lighter on a device’s resources. Cloud-based antivirus software store info on malware variants on an online cloud rather than on a user’s device. This frees up space and ensures the device’s performance is not negatively impacted.

Webroot has plans for users and for businesses. The price for each plan increases with the number of devices protected. A 14-day free trial is also offered.

Webroot reviews

As mentioned earlier, Webroot does not slow down your device’s performance thanks to its cloud-based technology. The software runs in the background and does not pester you with frequent popups/notifications. Scans are also completed quickly (usually between 1-2 minutes). Several users have said Webroot Business Endpoint Protection effectively kept their organization safe from digital threats.

However, Webroot’s interface can be difficult to navigate. Accessing the various menu screens feels cumbersome. This also makes it harder to see/find the features you have. Additionally, the interface design looks somewhat outdated.
