Yoast is an SEO plugin software for WordPress and Shopify. The goal of the platform is to drive more traffic to users’ websites. To achieve this, Yoast helps improve the readability and SEO of website pages. To start, enter a focus keyphrase into the Yoast SEO sidebar. The plugin will then do a full SEO analysis of the page and provide feedback on keyphrase use within the page. The SEO Analysis tool highlights the key elements to include in a post in order to improve it ranking.
For example, the feature will encourage you to add outbound links, shorten or lengthen the meta description, or add image alt attributes. The related keyphrase button generates a list of similar keywords/phrases with high search volumes, which can be set by country. The Yoast Schema graph automatically describes user pages to search engines. This helps your pages and site rank higher with search engines. The Insights tab provides an overview of the words most frequently used in your content. This tool helps ensure your content is focused on the keywords you want to rank for. Yoast also has additional SEO plugins:
