Pros

• All-in-one capabilities – ParagraphAI offers three functionalities: Write, Reply, and Improve. Write is a virtual writer, Reply responds to questions and queries you type in, and Improve is an AI proofreader and grammar corrector. Having spent some time with ParagraphAI, the technology feels on par with ChatGPT, without the need of waiting for responses due to high user activity.
• Strong free tier – You can get 20 free “writes” per day with the free tier of ParagraphAI, which is a decent amount. You can absolutely run out of uses in a day, but for a casual writing assistant, you can get by without paying any money.
• Tone controls – Three sliders let you customize the tone of the AI’s responses, adjusting the formality, friendliness, and optimism of the paragraph it generates.

Cons

• AI limitations – As good as AI has gotten, it’s still quite limited. You need to tune the prompts right to get the results you want. I don’t know if the reply functionality is something we would use in its current state, as the responses can be contrary to the context we provided.
• Full version is expensive – Right now, the prices for the paid version are quite high. For the cost, you just get 150 writes per day (instead of 20) and the capability for longer paragraphs.
