What our experts think

Here are some of the pros and cons for Mend.

Pros:

  • Ease of use: Several user reviews noted Mend’s ease of use. Many healthcare providers agreed that Mend was easy for themselves and their patients to set up. One user said using mend was “easier than you think”. Other people said they were able to set up an account and connect with clients without additional support.
  • Convenience: Several healthcare practitioners said they liked Mend for its convenience. Mend allows patients to meet with their providers almost anywhere: at home, work, school, or on vacation.
  • Features: Mend offers many communication features for providers. Some notable examples include mass messages, virtual waiting rooms, and the ability to type notes during video calls. These features contribute to efficiency and convenience.

Cons:

  • Billing info: There is no pricing information for Mend’s enterprise account; how much it costs per month. Listing this information would be more helpful; users could see if the account would fit their budget.
  • Tech issues: As with any digital application, glitches are bound to happen. Users commonly report freezing, video lag, and poor audio for tech issues. While these issues are frustrating and annoying, they usually go away or are fixed quickly.
