International hiring can be a cumbersome and lengthy process. International tax employment law, payrolls, and benefits all come into play and must be followed. With Oyster, the entire process is simplified. The platform aims to make the hiring and onboarding process take less than two weeks. Oyster provides compliant hiring, end-to-end employee management, and payroll in over 180 countries to achieve this. The time-to-hire period is shortened with automation and pre-built templates. The Virtual Hiring Assistant, Pearl, will guide you through the employment agreement form. Pearl will ensure you provide the necessary information based on the hiring location. Forms and other documents can also be drafted in the appropriate language. Oyster uses direct debit to make payouts and benefits easier. Payments are made on time and in the preferred currencies.
Oyster offers three plans: Contractor, Employee, and Scale. Out of the three, Employee is the most popular. The plan has either annual or monthly billing, with the former being cheaper. The Scale does not have a set fee. Instead, users contact the Oyster sales team to establish a customized price. You can explore the platform for free before signing up.

Oyster reviews
What our experts think
Oyster is an intuitive and user-friendly platform. The software also provides information on country-specific hiring (i.e., foreign employment laws and regulations). Many users liked that Oyster managed the bulk of the international hiring responsibilities. It enabled companies to grow their talent pool without worrying about compliance and other laws/regulations.
The main downside of Oyster is that it lacks some essential features of contractor management software. Currently, the platform does not have qualification tracking or safety management tools. Having these features would be beneficial for users. Another drawback is the price. Some businesses may find the fee expensive.
