What our experts think

Pros

  • Convenience: Several business owners have said Remote is a helpful and effective contractor management software. Remote helped them in hiring employees outside of their own country. One person said the automated onboarding process for employees was quick and painless (it usually feels tedious). Another person said Remote helped them manage employee/contractor expenses, certifications, and other documents. Employees and contractors also said that Remote made their life easier. For example, one person said that Remote was the perfect software for workers for onboarding and managing payslips and other documents.
  • Ease of Use: Overall, people said Remote was easy to use. One user said that while customer support was there to help, they were rarely needed since Remote was straightforward and intuitive.

Cons

Most users were satisfied with Remote and had very little to say in terms of dislikes. However, some people had suggestions such as expanding the banks available on Remote. Another common suggestion was better transparency for onboarding and the Job & Pay section; people wanted more information on how these features work. Other than that, some minor issues were reported, like long wait times and small technical glitches. However, these issues were not widespread.
